Travel Bun ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and web service.
Account information — When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo.
Travel data — Trip titles, destinations, dates, itineraries, travel companions, packing lists, expenses, and notes you create within the app.
Photos — Photos you upload to your travel diary or trip cover. These are stored securely in Google Firebase Storage.
Location data — City names and coordinates you enter for itinerary planning. We do not collect real-time or background location data.
Usage data — AI feature usage counts (per month) to enforce free-tier limits. We do not sell or share this data.
Device tokens — Push notification tokens (Apple APNs / Firebase Cloud Messaging) used solely to deliver notifications you have opted into.
Payment information — Subscription status and purchase history managed by Stripe (web) and RevenueCat (iOS). We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers.
We do not sell your personal information. Your travel data is shared only with companions you explicitly invite to a trip. We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
Each third-party provider operates under their own privacy policy and data protection terms.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is soft-deleted and permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete your account directly within the app.
Travel Bun is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
